Leading Cotswolds estate agents Harrison Hardie is under new ownership. Effective from 1st April the leading Cotswolds agency will be owned and run by Andrew and Victoria Snell. A married couple with three young children and a combined 35 years of experience in the property market in rural, urban and suburban areas, most recently running their own estate agency in Fulham, South-West London.
Victoria and Andrew recognise that Harrison James and Hardie is a well-respected local brand and their focus is to enhance an already thriving business, with the help of the well-established and professional teams based at their offices in Moreton-In-Marsh and Bourton-On- The-Water. With investment in technology and the brand as a whole they will ensure the continuation of high-quality advice and support to property sellers and landlords across the Cotswolds.
Speaking about the move Andrew said “We’re really excited to have made the move to the area and look forward to getting to know our vendors and landlords. We plan to be an active part of the local community both as a family and a business.
Acquiring Harrison Hardie was a clear-cut decision for us - it has a great team and a great reputation coupled with amazing local knowledge and a commitment to great customer service that rivals anything we have seen in our time in the industry. We can’t wait to settle into the area ourselves and make sure we keep delivering and improving the services HJH provide and feel confident our experience working in the London market and our connections there will add a positive new dimension, and importantly a great benefit to our clients. The property market is constantly evolving, as is consumer behaviour, but selling and letting property is and always will be a people business. And for that reason alone, our intention is to build upon and support our brilliant team of agents, because it is them that make the difference, set this agency apart, and keep people coming back."
Victoria adds “The past year has been tough for so many sectors, not least the property sales and letting sector. But HJH has really been at the forefront of making sure clients get great support in how and when they sell or let their property to get the best return. Demand is certainly outstripping supply and we are seeing the vast majority of properties we sell achieve their asking prices and very strong competition for rental properties - often going above asking prices - and we expect that strong performance to continue. With that increased demand it’s important anyone looking to buy, sell or let a property gets great advice coupled with great local knowledge and that’s exactly what HJH are known for."
